Lonely Mountain Skis Launch Party
The Lonely Mountain Ski Shop is open for business! To celebrate we invited our friends and fans to see the finished skis and sample some of our latest home brew.
Four years ago I started a project researching high performance sustainable materials in skis that would eventually lead Lonely Mountain Skis to this point. It has been a long and fascinating road of learning, prototyping and testing skis and I have met some fantastic characters along the way who have been pivotal in the development of the company. As a celebration of getting to this point of we threw a launch party at the workshop. Skis, food, beer and bassline music provided by the Strawberry Jam Sound System.
What more could you want. It was great to see the number of people who came came through the door. Telemarkers, ski shop owners, local skiers, ski touring fanatics, snowboarders, alpine skiers, cross country skiers and most importantly a wide variety of cute dogs. The party ran all day in the crisp November air and we gathered round the brazier to keep warm.
